Hi, we’re Drs. David and Nicole Hagedorn and we’ve spent the last 25 plus years of our lives treating both children and adults that suffer from various brain conditions.
Over the years, we have amassed tremendous amounts of research on the brain and how it functions and have seen thousands of cases of ADHD (AND… Cases that people thought were ADHD, but weren’t…. what we have called “Phantom ADHD”)
Dr. Nicole Hagedorn graduated from United States Military Academy at West Point where she earned the title of Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army. She is also a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
She holds a certificate from the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOOG) and has been in medical practice since 1998.
She also holds advanced certifications from the American Board of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) and the American College of Anti-Aging Sports Medicine Professionals (ACASP). She is an expert in scientific bio-identical hormone applications and functional integrative medicine for children and adults.
Dr. David Hagedorn is experienced in clinical health psychology, trained in neuropsychology and applied neuroscience and neuromodulation. He serves as an international neuroscience and biofeedback research consultant, instructor, and advisor for companies that assess and treat the brain.
He has master’s degrees in both Applied Behavior Analysis and Clinical Psychology, with a graduate specialty in Gerontology. He also has a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, with an additional Health Psychology Doctoral Certificate and postdoctoral training in neuropsychology and neuroscience applications.
Dr. David Hagedorn is Board Certified by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance as an electroencephalography biofeedback practitioner. He is a recognized leader in the clinical neuroscience field with expertise in EEG and ERP acquisition, QEEG analysis, brain stimulation, and brain computer interface (BCI) and portable peripheral biofeedback methods.
AFTER YEARS OF RESEARCH, HERE’S WHY MOST DOCTORS HAVE A FALSE UNDERSTANDING OF ADHD.
As I mentioned earlier, the main problem with most doctor’s (and even parents) is they are tackling the symptoms instead of identifying what is truly causing the neurological dysfunction. They accept the quick and easy “fix” that was propagated by the pharmaceutical rep who visits their office each week, and then relay that information as a diagnosis to their patients.
The system has been corrupted; therefore, the diagnosis is corrupted.
